1. Personal Data We Collect

  • Voluntarily provided: email when subscribing to the newsletter, messages via contact forms.

  • Automatically collected: IP address (hashed or anonymized), browser and device type, pages visited—collected via Wix logs and Google Analytics.

We may also use cookies and tracking pixels (Google, affiliates). For more detail, see section 3.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To send newsletters or updates when requested.

  • To analyze content performance, improve user experience, and track affiliate link clicks.

  • To comply with legal or security requirements (e.g. fraud investigation).

We do not sell personal data. Sharing with third-party services is limited to affiliate tracking or site analytics.

3. Cookies & Tracking

  • We use essential cookies for site functionality and performance cookies (Google Analytics).

  • A standard cookie banner is shown at your first visit where you can decline non-essential tracking.

  • California residents can click the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” banner to opt out.

4. Your Privacy Rights

If you're a California resident—or operating in California—the following rights apply:

  • Right to know: Request a list of personal information collected in the past 12 months.

  • Right to delete: Ask us to erase your data.

  • Right to opt out: Refuse the sale or sharing of personal information (even though we don’t sell it unless you click affiliate links).

  • Non-discrimination: We will not penalize you for exercising your rights.

Requests can be made via email: support@aiautomationspot.com. Please include your email address and the nature of your request. We’ll respond within 30 calendar days.

5. Affiliate Disclosure

  • All pages containing affiliate links have a disclosure placed above the first affiliate link. This ensures clarity and conspicuousness for a “reasonable consumer”.

  • Example text we use:

“This post contains links to partner tools; I may earn a commission if you make a purchase through these links, at no extra cost to you.”

  • We avoid vague terms like “affiliate link”, “spon”, or “commissionable”; FTC guidance emphasizes clear language (e.g. “paid link”, “ad”).

  • Trusting relationships with vendors do not influence our editorial judgments.

6. Updates & Amendments

  • We review and refresh this policy at least once every 12 months, or sooner if our practices change (e.g. new affiliate programs, new tracking tools).

  • Major changes will be posted at the top of this page with a “Last Updated” date.

7. External Links & Third-Party Content

Posts may link to tools and services we review. We do not control, endorse, or bear responsibility for third-party content or practices. Please review their privacy policies independently.
